I’m Cath, a Personal Trainer and Plant-Based Nutritionist with over 14 years of experience supporting women in midlife as a Health and Fitness Coach.
About 12 years ago, following a diagnosis of fibromyalgia at the onset of perimenopause, I made a fully intentional and life-changing decision to prioritise inner health and give my body the necessary tools and opportunity to heal on a cellular level.
This transformative journey continues today as I delve deeper into the complex and unpredictable world of menopause and beyond, committed to helping women thrive during this pivotal time in their lives.

Peri or Postmenopause?
Whether you are peri or postmenopausal you have no doubt experienced certain symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, palpitations or stubborn weight gain. Our sex hormones are on a crazy roller-coaster ride with each day presenting us with a fresh set of emotions and potentially stressful situations.
In the Western world especially, we assume this is something we must simply endure and long for the day we feel like ourselves again. We are fortunate that the majority of us are able to take HRT (Hormonal Replacement Therapy) to help ease our discomfort but is this the only option?

Over the past decade, I've immersed myself in exploring the intricate link between physical well-being and menopausal symptoms and I have come to this conclusion:
If we are able to reduce inflammation and our toxic load, both caused by lifestyle factors, then we can ease our symptoms and even limit or prevent hormonal weight gain.
